The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Macadam Baird has been cut.
Baird rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vaughn counters with a left and a right that stings Baird.
Vaughn lands a lovely overhand right.
Vaughn digs a good body shot into Baird's ribs.

Baird is rocked!
Vaughn lands a leg kick that knocks Baird off balance momentarily.

Baird closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vaughn's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baird slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Baird scoring with some ground and pound.
Vaughn looking to control but Baird passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baird is looking to advance position but Vaughn won't allow it.
Vaughn wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baird tries to pass to full mount but Vaughn defends it.
Baird takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Baird controlling the pace.
Vaughn is trying to maintain the position but Baird is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Mo Vaughn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vaughn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Baird.

Vaughn drops Baird with a beautiful combination! Baird stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vaughn is looking for the KO!
Baird is still on wobbly legs! Can Vaughn finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Vaughn engages and cracks Baird with a massive lead left hook - Baird tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Vaughn is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
