Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernardo Weeks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry McCann! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from McCann.
McCann closes the distance and clinches. Weeks gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. McCann pushes Weeks off and gets back to his feet. Weeks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McCann throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Weeks tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McCann is in Weeks's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weeks trying to keep a closed guard but McCann is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCann trying to control but Weeks is working from the bottom. Weeks throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
McCann with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weeks looking for a sweep. Not yet Weeks, not yet. McCann with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. McCann is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McCann throwing strikes from guard but Weeks blocks nicely. McCann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Weeks tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weeks somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McCann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weeks tries to avoid it but McCann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weeks to the ground. Weeks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McCann shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Weeks moves into full guard.
Weeks keeping moving, preventing McCann from controlling successfully. McCann content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCann stands up over Weeks, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. McCann drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Weeks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McCann has Weeks in his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McCann looking for a guillotine here but Weeks defends easily.
McCann preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McCann manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Weeks manages to get himself to full guard.
Weeks is striking but McCann is not phased and passes to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McCann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weeks keeps working. McCann is pressing down on Weeks's thigh, looking to free his foot. Weeks is holding on for now. McCann wants to control but Weeks is keeping him busy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Weeks wants to get back to his feet. McCann is trying to control. Weeks wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. McCann escapes and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terry McCann dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
McCann looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Weeks! McCann trying to control the position but Weeks is working away. McCann stands up and beckons Weeks to his feet. McCann clinches up with Weeks and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weeks wants a takedown.
McCann manages to break the clinch.
McCann is looking to land body kicks. McCann pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCann feints and as Weeks raises his hands in defense, McCann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Weeks manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weeks tries to circle away but McCann has him pinned against the cage. Weeks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McCann can't fight it off and eventually Weeks manages to take the fight to the floor. McCann looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. McCann wriggles free and stands up. McCann looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Weeks is fending him off so far but McCann persists. Nope, Weeks circles away and we're back to standing. Weeks feinted with a counter takedown. The fight moves into the clinch position. McCann has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McCann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McCann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McCann is breathing heavily. McCann misses with a takedown and Weeks counters with a straight right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCann fails with the takedown. Bernardo Weeks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry McCann. McCann closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. McCann misses with a hook to the ribs.
McCann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCann gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. McCann gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Weeks.
McCann tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Weeks smiles and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weeks leaves McCann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Weeks is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McCann. McCann moves into the clinch. McCann gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Weeks.
Weeks is looking for a takedown up against the cage. McCann gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. McCann letting Weeks take a breather here. McCann is working for takedown but Weeks is calmly controlling the position for now. Weeks is looking to take this one to the mat. A nice right hand lands inside from Weeks. McCann jumps guard and drags Weeks to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weeks in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Weeks trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Weeks landing with the ground and pound. Weeks with a flurry of punches that miss. McCann is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Weeks frees his head nicely. Oh but McCann has switched to an armbar! Weeks is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
