Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Piotr Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski moves in looking to clinch but Seppi pushes him off.
Seppi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Seppi lands a nice hook to Kowalski's body. Kowalski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Seppi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kowalski gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Seppi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kowalski tries to clinch but Seppi is having none of it.

Seppi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Seppi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kowalski pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Seppi trying to control the position but instead, Kowalski has worked for underhooks and has pushed Seppi into the cage.

Kowalski throws an elbow but it's blocked.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Seppi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Seppi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Seppi using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kowalski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Kowalski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kowalski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kowalski is looking for a triangle but Seppi pushes his legs off easily.

Seppi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kowalski tries to clinch up but Seppi circles away and keeps his distance.
A right-left combo lands from Seppi.


Kowalski is rocked!


It looks like Piotr Kowalski has been cut.

Seppi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kowalski is trying to stall.

Seppi breaks from the clinch.
and Seppi counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kowalski! He's just covering up as Seppi starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Our winner, Adriano Seppi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
