Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vos comes to the cage accompanied by Three Little Birds. Jake Vos has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Vos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bill Bronson! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vos misses with an uppercut. Bronson saw that one coming. Vos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bronson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Bronson misses with an uppercut. Vos saw that one coming. Bronson moves out of range as Vos strikes. Vos looks to land a combination. Bronson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. We've been hearing reports that Vos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Vos takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bronson looks to score with a jab to the body but Vos is just out of range. Nice straight punches there by Vos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vos. Bill Bronson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronson misses with a looping right. Vos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bronson swings widly with a right hand
and Vos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bronson manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vos misses with a hook. Bronson ducked under it nicely. Vos misses the jab. Vos avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bronson drops his hands momentarily and Vos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Vos lunges at Bronson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bronson's hand. Bronson takes a swing at Vos's ribcage but misses. Bronson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vos. Vos throwing a counter right hand but Bronson manages to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from Vos misses the target. A big right from Vos misses. Vos throws a shot from downtown. Bronson moves away and avoids it. Vos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bronson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vos.

A swing and a miss from Vos. Vos ducks under a wild hook from Bronson. Vos moves away from the strike by Bronson. Bronson drops his hands momentarily and Vos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A slow jab from Bronson misses its intended target. An attempted straight right counter from Vos misses the target. Nice cross by Bronson. Jake Vos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vos pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bronson looks to land a combination but Vos avoids it well. Vos was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Vos avoids the body shot from Bronson.
Vos is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bronson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bronson misses with a two punch combination.

Vos tests Bronson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bronson misses with a looping left. Bronson drives through and clinches with Vos against the cage.

Vos closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A big left from Bronson misses. Vos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronson misses with a left hand and Vos counters with a straight right hand. Vos connects with a body shot that sends Bronson's belly button to the back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bronson looks to throw the jab but Vos is out of range. Vos misses with a wild combination.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Vos will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Bronson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Vos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bronson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bronson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short right from Bronson on the inside. Bronson lands an uppercut. Vos blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Vos has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Good body shot from Bronson.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson is trying to trip Vos. He has hold of a leg but Vos is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bronson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Vos keeping moving, preventing Bronson from controlling successfully. Vos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Vos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bronson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Vos working for a triangle but Bronson defends it easily.
Bronson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bronson is in close to Vos's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bronson wants to pass the guard but Vos is keeping the position.

Vos keeping full guard, as Bronson tries to pass. Bronson lands a couple of elbows. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bronson working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Bronson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Vos looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Vos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bronson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Vos wants to sweep here but Bronson controlling him for the moment. Vos lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bill Bronson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Vos taking some punishment here, with Bronson in his half guard. Bronson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bronson wants to pass the guard but Vos is defending well. Bronson working over Vos with some ground and pound. Vos looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bill Bronson has got the better of the ground game so far. Vos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Vos taking some punishment here, with Bronson in his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ground and pound from Bronson. Vos is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bronson scores with a couple of nice shots. Bronson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Vos has hold of Bronson's hands but Bronson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Bronson is working Vos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Vos is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bronson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Vos off and has taken his back! Bronson lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Vos hold on?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oooh a big shot gets through from Bronson. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Vos manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bronson's guard. Nice work there by Vos.
Bronson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Vos is looking for a sweep. Bronson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Vos seems to have got his legs back now. Vos taking some punishment here, with Bronson in his half guard. Vos looking for submissions off his back. Bronson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vos sees it coming and defends easily. Vos is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronson winds up and cracks Vos with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Vos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bronson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice strikes from Bronson there. And that's the end of the fight! Bill Bronson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bronson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
