Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bors Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Lahey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bors Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Lahey!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahey misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hill connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hill changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hill, right into the meat.
Hill lands a leg kick that knocks Lahey off balance momentarily.
Lahey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hill seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lahey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A left lands for Hill.
Hill lands a nice looking body shot.
Hill lands a jab-cross combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hill stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lahey misses with a left hand
and Hill counters with a series of strikes. Lahey will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bors Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Lahey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hill feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Laheys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hill moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lahey moves forwards but Hill connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lahey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hill can pounce on him.

Lahey shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lahey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hill counters with a stiff right hand.
Hill jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hill keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hill darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hill catches Lahey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lahey walks into a straight right hand from Hill.

Hill fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hill punishes Lahey's body with a nice straight punch.
Hill throws a leg kick which misses Lahey's front leg but catches the back leg as Lahey tries to avoid it.

Hill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lahey parries the strikes from Hill easily there. Hill is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lahey to escape.

Hill looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Hill fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hill tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Lahey is trying to escape the position but Hill is controlling the position.
Hill prevents Lahey from escaping the position.

Hill tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

A lull in the action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hill moves into full mount!
Hill misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lahey defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hill.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bors Hill dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hill is looking to slow Lahey down with leg kicks.
Hill cracks Lahey with a good jab.
Lahey tries a head kick but it misses.
Lahey throws a right and a left that Hill avoids nicely.
Hill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lahey can do to turn this around?

Lahey has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lahey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hill lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hill connects with a nice looking jab.

Hill scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lahey throws a sloppy head kick
and Hill counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lahey's knee momentarily.
Hill connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lahey's hands.
Nice uppercut there from Hill.


Lahey is rocked!
Hill lands a nice hook to Lahey's body. Lahey takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hill lands a lovely overhand right.
Lahey is still on wobbly legs! Can Hill finish him?
Hill comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lahey seems to have recovered his senses.
Jim Lahey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hill fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hill lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lahey throws a lazy head kick
and Hill makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Hill drops Lahey with a nice combination! Hill dives into Lahey's guard, looking to finish!

Hill postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hill throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lahey works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hill lands a couple of digs.
Hill passes into half guard.
Hill throwing shots but Lahey is blocking nicely.
Hill sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Hill not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hill keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Lahey wants to stand back up but Hill manages to pass into side control.
The strikes coming from Hill are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Hill tries to score with some ground and pound. Lahey controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hill just content to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hill shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lahey defends it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hill connects with a leg kick. Lahey looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bors Hill is winning the standup battle so far.
Lahey throws a combination that misses
and Hill counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hill throws a shot to the body.
Lahey misses with a looping left.
Hill looks to land a combination. Lahey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Hill scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lahey walks into a stiff left hand from Hill.
Hill lands a brutal head kick. Lahey looks out on his feet and Hill throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Bors Hill!
Bors Hill decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Jim Lahey spoke after the fight, saying 'Jim Lahey for supervisor of the year'.
