Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kojiro Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Short Low (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Low has chosen Short People as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle lands a nice shot that snaps Low's head back.
Kojiro Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kyle misses with a right hand
and Low counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Low slips a straight right by Kyle.
A jab from Kyle misses.
Kyle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Low.

Kyle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kyle lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Low working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kyle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kyle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kyle was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Low looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Kyle counters with a good low kick that Low was not able to check.

Low throws a lazy right hand but Kyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Low shoots in for a takedown but Kyle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kyle throws a leg kick which misses Low's front leg but catches the back leg as Low tries to avoid it.
Low will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kojiro Kyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Short Low.

Low closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Low lands in his opponent's guard.
Kyle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kojiro Kyle will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Low is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Low needs to keep his hands up - Kyle had a free shot at his head there.
Low walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kyle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
