Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boleslaw Krzywousty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mikkel Michelsen! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krzywousty throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Michelsen's waist but Michelsen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krzywousty off to one side. Krzywousty lands a slapping body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Michelsen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Krzywousty - the referee stops the clock and Michelsen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Krzywousty. Michelsen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Krzywousty shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Michelsen but Michelsen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Michelsen steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Krzywousty. Michelsen clinches up with Krzywousty and pushes him back against the cage. Michelsen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Krzywousty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Krzywousty shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Michelsen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Michelsen pushes Krzywousty off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krzywousty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Michelsen circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boleslaw Krzywousty. That's going to take a lot out of him. Michelsen has Krzywousty up against the cage in a clinch.

Michelsen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Krzywousty defends well and Michelsen ends up having to push Krzywousty into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Krzywousty will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Michelsen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Michelsen has Krzywousty up against the cage in a clinch.

Krzywousty stands up from guard. Let's bang! Krzywousty dives in and grabs Michelsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Michelsen pushes down on Krzywousty's head and hops out. Krzywousty has closed the distance and engaged Michelsen in a clinch.
Krzywousty wants to take the fight to the mat but Michelsen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Krzywousty is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Krzywousty is trying to drag Michelsen to the mat but Michelsen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Michelsen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Krzywousty really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Krzywousty is defended easily by Michelsen. Michelsen moves into the clinch successfully.

Krzywousty doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Krzywousty manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Krzywousty stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Krzywousty wants it to stay on the feet. Krzywousty shoots in for a takedown but Michelsen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Michelsen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Krzywousty counters with a nice low kick that buckles Michelsen's knee momentarily. Michelsen leaves Krzywousty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Michelsen wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krzywousty ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Michelsen moves away. Michelsen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Krzywousty lands a head kick. Michelsen smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Krzywousty misses with a takedown attempt - Michelsen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A little jabbing left from Michelsen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boleslaw Krzywousty. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Michelsen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Michelsen passes Krzywousty's left leg - he's now in half guard. Michelsen prevents Krzywousty from improving his position. Mikkel Michelsen has got the better of the ground game so far. Krzywousty is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Michelsen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Michelsen's back! Krzywousty missing with strikes. Krzywousty is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Michelsen defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Michelsen tries to escape but Krzywousty has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Krzywousty working for the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Boleslaw Krzywousty will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Krzywousty trying to control the position from guard on top but Michelsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Michelsen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krzywousty gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Krzywousty seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Krzywousty avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Michelsen trying to strike off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Michelsen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Krzywousty has taken the fight to the clinch.

Krzywousty tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Michelsen just stands there and leans against the cage. Krzywousty has Michelsen pressed against the cage, preventing Michelsen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Krzywousty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Krzywousty fails with a takedown attempt. Krzywousty closes the distance and clinches. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Krzywousty tries to score a body lock takedown but Michelsen shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Krzywousty pulls guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boleslaw Krzywousty. I think Krzywousty has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
