Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Williams! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt. Williams fails to land the takedown. Ellis shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well. Williams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ellis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Ellis persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing. Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ellis but Ellis pushes him off and we're back to square one. Andrew Ellis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Williams. Williams rushes Ellis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Williams avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ellis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Williams is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Williams goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ellis prevents it.
Williams gets control of Ellis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Williams will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ellis works over Williams with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ellis postures up and lands a big shot to Williams's brow. Williams is trying to keep Ellis in close.
Ellis connects with a couple of short punches. Williams is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ellis defends well. Ellis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ellis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ellis lands a couple of digs. Ellis controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis postures up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ellis's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ellis connects with a couple of short punches. Ellis is looking to work some ground and pound but Williams has wrist control. Williams working a defensive guard here.
Ellis landing some decent shots from guard. Ellis tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard. Ellis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ellis throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ellis lands a couple of digs. Williams keeping moving, preventing Ellis from controlling successfully. Ellis distracts Williams with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Ellis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ellis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ellis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ellis trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ellis is in close to Williams's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ellis cracks Williams with a solid left hand. Ellis works over Williams with some ground and pound from guard. Ellis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Williams's head. Ellis lands a couple of digs. Ellis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ellis scoring with punches from side control. Ellis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well. Ellis working the ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ellis landing strikes. Ellis scores with a couple of short elbows.
Williams is rocked! Ellis lands a strong strike to the head of Williams. That's dazed him! Ellis looking to finish here. Williams is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ellis lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
