Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wallace closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wallace tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gattis is trying to improve his position.
Wallace lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Gattis tries to buck Wallace off but Wallace is having none of it.
Gattis throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Wallace fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
As Wallace looks to move away, Gattis throws a big counter combo bu Wallace just gets out of the way.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gattis as he avoids it easily.
Gattis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wallace swivels and escapes.

Wallace is looking to clinch but Gattis is avoiding it.
Gattis lands with a nice combination. Wallace backs away looking to recover.
Wallace shoots in and bounces Gattis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gattis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wallace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wallace has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wallace passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gattis is trying to improve his position.
Gattis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wallace on the ground.
