Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seto Takiama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Mcfee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seto Takiama looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seto Takiama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Mcfee! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcfee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Takiama's half guard. Still in half guard, Mcfee seems content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcfee is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mcfee is trying to work for a kimura but Takiama is defending well.
Mcfee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mcfee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Takiama defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfee decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Mcfee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mcfee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takiama's waist but Takiama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mcfee off to one side. Takiama tries to counter with a takedown but Mcfee is quick to defend against it. Mcfee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takiama lands a body shot.
Sean Mcfee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcfee throws a right hand that Takiama ducks under and follows up with a left that Takiama also avoids with ease. Mcfee darts in looking for a takedown but Takiama gets double underhooks and turns Mcfee into the cage. Takiama appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Takiama closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcfee quickly recovers to half guard. Mcfee pushes Takiama off and gets back to his feet. Takiama is breathing heavily. Mcfee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcfee lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcfee working some strikes from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfee wants to get up but he can't break Takiama's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mcfee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Takiama is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mcfee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mcfee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takiama swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mcfee preventing the sweep. Takiama can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mcfee controls the pace. Mcfee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcfee sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takiama shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcfee as he jumps to the side. Mcfee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mcfee lands a right hand. Takiama tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mcfee turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee asks Mcfee politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mcfee prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcfee cracks Takiama with a big right hand but Takiama just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Mcfee controlling the position. Takiama is trying to improve his position. Mcfee sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Takiama is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mcfee moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A head kick misses from Mcfee. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Mcfee dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mcfee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Mcfee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Takiama changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Takiama dodges the punch combination from Mcfee.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Takiama is defended easily by Mcfee. Mcfee unleashes a big counter combination but Takiama bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfee moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mcfee fails to land the takedown. Mcfee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mcfee is staying tight to Takiama's torso, preventing him from escaping. Mcfee tries for a kimura but Takiama is defending well. Takiama manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mcfee's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mcfee in particular looking to stall. Mcfee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Takiama trying to control here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Takiama shoots for a takedown but Mcfee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Takiama tries to sprawl but Mcfee drives through with a takedown into half guard. Takiama manages to escape and get back to his feet! Mcfee swings for the body but Takiama moves out of range.
Good exchange - Takiama coming out on top. Mcfee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mcfee controlling the position. Mcfee goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Takiama rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mcfee's guard! Nice work there by Takiama!

Takiama drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mcfee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Takiama has Mcfee in his guard. Takiama working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mcfee. Mcfee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mcfee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Takiama wants to hit a switch here but Mcfee passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Takiama there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Mcfee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mcfee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Takiama is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mcfee pulls him back up using the underhooks. Mcfee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mcfee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Takiama sprawls well. Takiama wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcfee gets slowly back to his feet. As Mcfee tries to get set, Takiama tries to push him back and clinch up but Mcfee manages to avoid the attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Takiama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mcfee throws a head kick that misses. Horrible takedown attempt by Takiama or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcfee, which made it look bad. Despite the aggression on Mcfee's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seto Takiama. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcfee fakes the leg kick and cracks Takiama in the body. Mcfee drives through and clinches with Takiama against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfee putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Takiama in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Mcfee breaks the clinch.
Mcfee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mcfee looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Mcfee wants to stand but Takiama is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcfee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mcfee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takiama swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Mcfee. Those never looked like landing. An attempted straight right counter from Takiama misses the target. Mcfee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Takiama tries to score a body lock takedown but Mcfee shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mcfee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mcfee closes the distance and clinches up with Takiama, looking for a takedown. Mcfee pushes Takiama against the cage but Takiama circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mcfee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcfee wants it to stay on the feet. Mcfee misses with a wild combination.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mcfee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Seto Takiama has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sean Mcfee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mcfee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
And that's the end of the fight! Sean Mcfee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mcfee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
