14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Anderson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Narushima throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily. Narushima throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Anderson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Anderson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Narushima's guard. Narushima manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Anderson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Narushima misses with a body kick. Narushima tries a head kick but it misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ryo Narushima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Anderson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Anderson misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Anderson trying to control the position but Narushima is working away. Narushima taking a bit of punishment here - Anderson scoring with strikes. Narushima on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Narushima tries to get out of the position. Anderson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Narushima some visible discomfort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Narushima pushes Anderson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Anderson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Anderson working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Anderson throwing shots but missing, from side control. Anderson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Anderson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson lands a few punches from side control. Anderson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Narushima is avoiding damage well.

Anderson working the ground and pound from side control. Anderson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Narushima is avoiding damage well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryo Narushima will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Andrew Anderson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

It looks like Ryo Narushima has been cut. Anderson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Narushima covers up, he's hurt! Anderson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Anderson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Anderson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
