The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bridges takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Rodger Bridges has been cut. Kentucky scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bridges regains half guard. Bridges really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kentucky is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bridges sees it coming and defends easily. Kentucky decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kentucky looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kentucky trying to control but Bridges is working from the bottom. Bridges is trying to keep Kentucky in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bridges avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bridges looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kentucky prevents Bridges from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kentucky postures up.

Kentucky has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bridges can't escape the position.

Bridges bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kentucky's guard. Kentucky has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Kentucky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kentucky prevents Bridges from improving his position. Bridges moves into full guard.
Kentucky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bridges escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. And that's the end of the fight! Thomas Kentucky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kentucky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
