Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Neck of the Woods kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mike Ross has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Daniel Brown's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown checks a leg kick.
It looked like Brown wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ross checks a leg kick.
Brown throws a hook but Ross blocks it.
Ross fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brown throws a wild body kick that Ross sees coming a mile off.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ross moves away.

A nice leg kick lands there from Ross.
Ross throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot.
Jab, jab by Ross - just one landing.
Ross fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ross - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ross. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Brown lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Brown shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ross manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Mike Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Ross throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brown definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ross's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ross scrambles back to his feet.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Brown might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Brown is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Ross frees his head nicely. Oh but Brown has switched to an armbar! Ross is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
