Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yago Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
Horrible takedown by Gutierrez or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.
Gutierrez shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Gutierrez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yago Gutierrez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson wants to stand but Gutierrez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gutierrez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jackson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gutierrez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gutierrez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yago Gutierrez will probably get the nod.

Gutierrez is looking to work his way around to Jackson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Gutierrez wants to finish this one by submission but Jackson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gutierrez.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson tries to hold on but Gutierrez pushes him away.
Jackson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
BOOM! Gutierrez connects with a massive shot to the dome!
