Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Doo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimo Rahali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimo Rahali looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Doo ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kimo Rahali! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Doo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rahali defends it nicely. Rahali avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Doo shoots for a takedown but Rahali saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rahali fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Doo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rahali tries to avoid it but Doo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rahali to the ground. Rahali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Doo . That's going to take a lot out of him. Rahali pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Doo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rahali avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rahali shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Doo but Doo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doo shoots in for a takedown but Rahali shows good takedown defense. Rahali is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rahali enables Doo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rahali manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Doo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Doo wants to control from the top but Rahali keeps moving. Rahali looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rahali wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Doo throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rahali is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Doo defends well. Rahali is looking for a triangle but Doo pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Doo wants to control from the top but Rahali keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Doo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rahali works the jab nicely. Doo tries to clinch there but Rahali circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Rahali as Doo shoots in. A lazy body kick from Doo and Rahali counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rahali has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Doo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Doo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rahali gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Doo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rahali after a bit of a struggle. Doo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rahali is defending well. Rahali breaks the clinch.
Doo shoots in but Rahali avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rahali shoots in for a takedown but Doo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick misses from Doo . Rahali blocks a head kick by Doo .
Rahali lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Doo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rahali counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Doo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Doo is breathing heavily.

Rahali breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rahali throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Doo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rahali. Rahali keeps the fight on the outside. Rahali is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Doo shoots in but Rahali avoids the takedown attempt easily. John Doo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doo looks for a takedown but Rahali sprawls well. Rahali appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rahali throws a head kick that misses and Doo counters with a good, hard body kick but Rahali shrugs it off. Doo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. As Doo backs off Rahali throws a huge counter combo but Doo manages to avoid it all. Rahali shoots for a takedown but Doo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. A looping hook to the body misses from Doo . Rahali does a little dance to reset his feet. Doo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Rahali tries a head kick but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rahali makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Doo is trying to drag Rahali to the mat but Rahali just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rahali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Doo throws a nice outside leg kick. Rahali fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rahali tries to clinch up but Doo circles away and keeps his distance. Rahali slaps away a takedown attempt from Doo , before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rahali takes the fight into the clinch. Doo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rahali pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rahali replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Doo blocks it well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rahali circles away. Rahali misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that John Doo will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rahali steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Doo . Rahali instigates a clinch. Doo is looking for a takedown. Doo tries to break free but Rahali pushes him back against the cage. Doo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rahali fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Rahali shoots in and bounces Doo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rahali's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rahali in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rahali must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Doo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rahali wants to pass the guard but Doo is keeping the position. Doo working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rahali misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Doo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rahali circles away. Rahali checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Doo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rahali cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rahali slaps away a takedown attempt from Doo , before circling back to the center of the mat. Rahali looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rahali has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Doo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A little jabbing left from Rahali on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doo wants to clinch. Doo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doo wants it to stay on the feet. As Rahali tries to get set, Doo tries to push him back and clinch up but Rahali manages to avoid the attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rahali is defended easily by Doo . Doo misses with a body kick. Doo is looking to clinch but Rahali is avoiding it.
Kimo Rahali is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doo blocks the body kick.
Doo connects with a high kick. Doo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rahali manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doo just misses with a punch to the body.
Rahali appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Doo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rahali sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Doo somewhat. Doo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rahali shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Doo pinned against the cage. Doo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Doo darts in looking for a takedown but Rahali gets double underhooks and turns Doo into the cage. Rahali shoots in for a takedown but Doo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Doo tries a head kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Kimo Rahali comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rahali has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
