Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilbur Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilbur Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry McCann! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson dodges the punch combination from McCann.
Peterson looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Peterson throws a head kick that misses. Sloppy strikes from McCann. Those never looked like landing. McCann throws a low kick but Peterson moves out of range easily. McCann moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Wilbur Peterson has been cut. Peterson really is a fat lump. An inside leg kick from McCann misses. It looked like Peterson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. McCann turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Peterson gets caught flat footed, as McCann shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Peterson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCann pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Peterson throws a head kick that misses. McCann gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Peterson stops a takedown attempt from McCann.
Peterson goes for a takedown attempt but McCann pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McCann misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCann swinging wildly here.
Peterson gets the takedown into side control. McCann throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! McCann looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Peterson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! McCann looks winded! McCann throws a series of punches but Peterson moves out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Peterson looking to score a takedown here. McCann is defending well but Peterson drives through and ends up in McCann's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson wants to stand but McCann is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peterson prevents McCann from getting back to his feet. Peterson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Peterson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Peterson is working McCann over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Peterson won't allow McCann to get back to his feet. McCann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McCann not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McCann is looking to regain half guard here but Peterson keeps moving and retains side control. Peterson landing strikes. Peterson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. McCann dives in and grabs Peterson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Peterson pushes down on McCann's head and hops out. McCann gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. McCann is wriggling around but Peterson manages to pass to half guard.
Peterson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. McCann is looking to escape. McCann trying to control here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Peterson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. McCann is trying to escape back to his feet but Peterson uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Peterson scores with a couple of short elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Wilbur Peterson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Wilbur Peterson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McCann avoids the head kick by Peterson.
McCann has Peterson up against the cage in a clinch.
McCann breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McCann misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for McCann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCann just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromPeterson. Peterson slips a jab and a cross from McCann.
Terry McCann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCann throws a combination that misses and Peterson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. McCann pushes Peterson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. McCann rushes Peterson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McCann is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! McCann tries to circle away but Peterson has him pinned against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. McCann has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Peterson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Peterson jumps guard but McCann stands there with Peterson around his waist. Peterson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Peterson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McCann is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Peterson manages to pull guard.
McCann stopping the sweep attempt from Peterson. We've been informed that McCann has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Peterson pushes McCann off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Peterson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCann fails with the takedown. Peterson is looking to counter with head kicks. Peterson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Peterson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! McCann is trying to control Peterson's posture but Peterson avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCann pushes Peterson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Peterson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. McCann tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Peterson easily slips into full mount! Peterson landing punches. Peterson scoring with strikes but McCann is staying in there. Peterson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McCann looks a forlorn figure.
This has been an exciting period of action! Peterson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McCann's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. McCann is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wilbur Peterson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peterson raining down shots from the mount! McCann wants to hold on but Peterson pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Peterson landing strikes, looking to finish! Peterson cracks McCann with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McCann taking shots to the head. McCann is looking to get to half guard. McCann wants to hold on but Peterson pushes him away. McCann wants to get back to his feet.

Wilbur Peterson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Wilbur Peterson's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Peterson. McCann wants to get back to his feet but Peterson is dominant here and he's now got McCann's back! McCann is trying to get back to his feet but Peterson has full control of the position and if anything, McCann has just worked his way into a worse spot. Despite being in a bad position, McCann is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. McCann is trying to stand back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged McCann with him. McCann is trying to defend but Peterson has an arm under the chin now! McCann grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Wilbur Peterson!
