Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quintin Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiro Fukui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiro Fukui will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quintin Day!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jiro Fukui!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukui lands with a shot to the body.
Fukui throws a nice looking combination but Day bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fukui misses with a double jab.
Fukui bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Day's head.
Day tries to keep at a distance but Fukui has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fukui has Day pressed against the cage, preventing Day from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Fukui keeps control of Day as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Day is trying to force a seperation but Fukui has the dominant position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fukui keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Day's efforts to push away.

Fukui gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Day breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Day tries for a takedown but Fukui circles away easily
and Fukui counters by moving into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fukui has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Day has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fukui avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fukui jumps guard but Day turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fukui manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Day wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Fukui's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fukui lands with a nice body punch.
Fukui rushes Day with punches - Day moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Day goes down! Fukui follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
