Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Taylor! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Taylor throws a right and a left that both miss. Taylor scores with a three punch combo!
Taylor scores with a one two! Gray had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Taylor gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Taylor lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Gray breaks from the clinch.
Taylor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Taylor shoots in but no luck this time. Gray attempts a counter takedown but Taylor avoids it well and moves away. A nice combination there by Taylor.
Taylor clinches up with Gray and pushes him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Gray. Taylor doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Gray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Taylor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gray appears to be looking for a big counter. Taylor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray is looking to score with low kicks. Taylor closes the distance and clinches. Taylor tries to land knees in the clinch but Gray avoids the damage to the body. Taylor looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Gray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taylor moves out of range of the body kick. Sloppy strikes from Taylor. Those never looked like landing. Gray moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Taylor throws a body kick that misses and Gray counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gray wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Taylor wants to sweep here but Gray controlling him for the moment. Taylor looks winded! Gray gets to his feet. Taylor looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor throws a combination that misses and Gray counters with a takedown into side control. Gray stands up and we're back to a striking position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gray scores with a push kick. Taylor takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Taylor moves out of range as Gray throws a body kick.
Taylor unleashes a big counter combination but Gray bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Taylor misses with a double jab
and Gray counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gray is standing up over Taylor. Taylor looks to escape but Gray dives into side control.
Gray is trying to get an arm triangle but Taylor is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray stands up and we're back to a striking position. Taylor moves out of range of the body kick. Taylor moves into the clinch. Gray breaks from the clinch.
Taylor tries to sprawl but Gray drives through with a takedown into half guard. Gray is trying to work for a kimura but Taylor is defending well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gray connects with a nice short shot to Taylor's temple. Gray is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gray decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Gray darts in and clinches Taylor up against the cage. Gray has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Taylor clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor is trying to break free.
Gray has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Taylor has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Gray is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Taylor defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carlos Gray will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gray is looking to counter with a body kick. Gray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Taylor circles away quickly and effectively. Taylor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gray counters by moving into the clinch. Gray prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gray wants the takedown. Taylor is fighting it off but Gray persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Taylor's guard against the cage. Gray is standing up over Taylor. Taylor looks to escape but Gray dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray working the ground and pound. Gray stands up and we're back to a striking position. Taylor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Taylor is breathing heavily. Gray misses with a head kick.

and Gray counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Gray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Taylor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gray. Taylor misses with a looping right. Taylor clinches with his opponent.
Gray wants the takedown. Taylor is fighting it off but Gray persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Taylor's guard against the cage. Gray decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Taylor, up you get! Lee Taylor seems to be getting the better of the standup. Taylor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gray circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gray decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Taylor scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Taylor moves out of range as Gray throws a body kick.
Gray bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gray appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Taylor throws a shot from downtown. Gray moves away and avoids it. Gray went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Gray is looking to land body kicks. Taylor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gray moves into the clinch. Gray is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Taylor can do to turn this around? Gray has picked Taylor up - he's going for a ride! Gray dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Taylor wants to stand back up but Gray manages to pass into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Taylor rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gray's guard! Nice work there by Taylor! Gray looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gray holds on and takes a little breather. Gray manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Taylor lands a body shot. Gray tightens his grip and picks Taylor up, before dumping him to the ground. Taylor manages to land in guard. Gray is looking to stand up but Taylor won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gray is stalling in the full guard. Gray decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Taylor, up you get! Gray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Taylor, pushing him back against the cage. Gray gets a trip takedown into half guard. Taylor manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gray keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gray drags the fight down to the ground.
Gray has a closed guard, preventing Taylor from standing up. Gray had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Taylor defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Gray dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Taylor misses with a leg kick and Gray holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Taylor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Taylor stops a takedown attempt from Gray.

Taylor is trying to force a seperation but Gray has the dominant position. Taylor wants a takedown but no success here.
Gray has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Taylor avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Taylor tries to work over Gray's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Gray ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gray no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Taylor preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gray's guard. Taylor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gray throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Taylor defends it easily. Gray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Gray throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gray is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Taylor has managed to free his arm - good work. Gray is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Taylor defends it well. Still in half guard, Gray seems content to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Taylor shoots for a takedown but Gray saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gray turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Gray slips a jab and a cross from Taylor.

and Gray counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gray. Taylor misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gray gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Taylor regains guard.
Gray throwing strikes from guard but Taylor blocks nicely. Gray gets to his feet - Taylor follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor throws a combination that misses and Gray counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Taylor has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gray is on him like a limpet, forcing Taylor back against the cage. Gray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gray scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Taylor throws Gray to one side and escapes! Taylor jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gray moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Gray throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Taylor counters with a series of strikes. Gray will be more careful next time no doubt. Gray tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor misses with a wild combination.
Gray seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Taylor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Taylor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gray.
Gray sets himself, and Taylor steps forward looking for the clinch! Gray avoids it this time. Taylor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Taylor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Carlos Gray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Taylor. Gray throws a half hearted mid kick. Gray keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lee Taylor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carlos Gray is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gray fakes the leg kick and cracks Taylor in the body.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carlos Gray. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gray, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
