Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwayne Johnson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson stalks Filipovic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Filipovic's face. Filipovic staggers backwards, shaken.
Filipovic goes for a double leg but Johnson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Johnson continues to drive forward.
Johnson blocks a jab.
Filipovic moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Johnson throws a body shot but no joy.
Filipovic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Filipovic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson has Filipovic up against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson keeps control of Filipovic as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Filipovic looking to throw knees to the head but Johnson is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson is trying to trip Filipovic. He has hold of a leg but Filipovic is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Johnson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Filipovic clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Filipovic shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Filipovic's temple.

Filipovic is staying active underneath Johnson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Filipovic enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Filipovic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
