Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aatish Sunuwar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunuwar comes into the arena with Peace Sells blaring out of the sound system. Aatish Sunuwar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunuwar rushes Shifter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
I was talking to Sunuwar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Shifter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sunuwar walks away with a smile on his face. Shifter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sunuwar swings for the body but Shifter moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shifter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shifter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Aatish Sunuwar will probably get the nod.

Sunuwar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
