Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredo Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Rodri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredo Santana could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jose Rodri's chin.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rodri gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Rodri is looking to advance position but Santana won't allow it.
Rodri is trying to control. Santana wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodri is working for a kimura but Santana is defending it quite comfortably.

Santana has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rodri is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Santana really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rodri is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Santana can't fight it off and eventually Rodri manages to take the fight to the floor. Santana looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Santana uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Rodri moves into the clinch successfully.
Rodri gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Santana will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rodri stands up and waves to Santana to follow him.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Santana enables Rodri to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Santana manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rodri tries to free his leg and advance position but Santana is retaining full guard.

Santana shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rodri napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rodri has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Santana's face.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rodri creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rodri has picked Santana up - he's going for a ride! Rodri dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Santana kicks off Rodri and gets to his feet.

Santana uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rodri.
Santana steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rodri. That one must have hurt.
Rodri darts in and clinches Santana up against the cage.
Rodri lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rodri tightens his grip and picks Santana up, before dumping him to the ground. Santana manages to land in guard.
Rodri gets to his feet. Santana looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Rodri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rodri showed some decent athleticism there.
Santana won't allow Rodri to pass to mount.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Rodri shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Santana's guard.
Rodri decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Rodri manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Santana on his heels. He'll look to pass Santana's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rodri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rodri jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Santana manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jose Rodri comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rodri has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
