Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Luck Pickerd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Bozzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Luck Pickerd! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickerd closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bozzi's guard. Bozzi is trying to control the position but Pickerd postures up. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pickerd drops back looking for a leg! Bozzi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bozzi manages to kick Pickerd off! Pickerd jumps back into Bozzi's guard. Bozzi keeping moving, preventing Pickerd from controlling successfully. Pickerd might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bozzi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. My spies in Lock and Roll Grappling Gym inform me that Pickerd has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Pickerd is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bozzi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bozzi shrugs it off.

Pickerd jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bozzi manages to avoid the submission attempt. Pickerd tries to move to mount but Bozzi blocks the move with his legs. Bozzi tries to bench press Pickerd off him but Pickerd keeps the position. Pickerd advances nicely into full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pickerd controlling the pace for now. Jon Luck Pickerd has got the better of the ground game so far. Pickerd goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bozzi is on top in guard.

Jon Luck Pickerd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A slapping body kick lands there for Bozzi. Bozzi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bozzi ducks under a wild hook from Pickerd. Pickerd will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pickerd tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bozzi defends well and Pickerd ends up having to push Bozzi into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pickerd has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bozzi. Bozzi throws a wild body kick that Pickerd sees coming a mile off. Bozzi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pickerd's sensitive parts. Bozzi cracks the inside of Pickerd's front leg. Pickerd fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bozzi avoids it really well and circles away. Jason Bozzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Luck Pickerd. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pickerd takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Bozzi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bozzi lands the left hand. Pickerd fails in his attempt to clinch. Horrible takedown attempt by Pickerd or perhaps it was just good defense by Bozzi, which made it look bad. Pickerd fails with a takedown attempt. Bozzi scores with a kick to the body.
Pickerd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bozzi is fending him off so far but Pickerd persists. Nope, Bozzi circles away and we're back to standing. Pickerd checks a leg kick. Pickerd moves out of range of the body kick. Pickerd blocks a head kick by Bozzi.
Pickerd shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bozzi is trying to defend but Pickerd finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bozzi actively working from the bottom here.

Bozzi looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pickerd puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pickerd is trying for a kimura here. Bozzi looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pickerd wins by kimura!
