Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoniusz Amaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Blade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antoniusz Amaro! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blade fails to land with a series of punches.
Blade walks into a jab. Amaro gets a double leg takedown into Blade's guard. Blade wants to sweep here but Amaro controlling him for the moment. Amaro working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Amaro throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Amaro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Blade trying to control the position.
Amaro trying to control the position from guard on top but Blade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Amaro scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amaro throws a big elbow that misses. Amaro loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. That's one minute gone in the round. Blade wants to stand and escape but Amaro is having none of it. Amaro with a flurry of punches that miss. Amaro wants to control from the top but Blade keeps moving. Amaro distracts Blade with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Amaro in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Amaro trying to control the position from guard on top but Blade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blade preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Amaro throwing strikes but missing. Blade is pulling down on Amaro's head. It's preventing any offense from Amaro, at least for the moment. Amaro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blade swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Amaro working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Amaro postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Amaro prevents Blade from getting back to his feet. Amaro trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Amaro throwing strikes from guard but Blade blocks nicely. Amaro sitting in guard, not really doing much. Amaro postures up and lands a big shot to Blade's brow. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Amaro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Amaro is in close to Blade's body, working some short punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blade wants to stand but Amaro is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Amaro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Amaro trying to control but Blade is working from the bottom. Amaro in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Blade avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amaro controls from within his opponent's guard. Blade wants to sweep but no luck. Amaro throwing strikes but missing. Amaro looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Blade avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Amaro is looking to work some ground and pound but Blade has wrist control. Amaro controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Amaro looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Amaro walks into a stiff left hand from Blade. Amaro shoots in looking for a takedown but Blade manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amaro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Amaro shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Amaro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blade's waist but Blade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amaro off to one side. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blade swings widly with a right hand
and Amaro counters with a right hand to the body. Amaro with a nice cross. Amaro moves out of range of the leg kick from Blade. Amaro steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Blade ducks straight into an uppercut from Amaro and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Blade manages to regain guard straight away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antoniusz Amaro dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Blade scores with a jab to the jaw. Blade missing with a left hand there. Amaro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Blade stuffs the takedown attempt from Amaro. Amaro gets slowly back to his feet. Amaro misses with a few strikes there.
Amaro has his takedown stuffed and Blade cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Amaro takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Amaro. Blade sneaks out the side door and pushes Amaro away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. This has been an exciting period of action! Blade throws a hook but Amaro blocks it. Blade throws a solid leg kick but Amaro takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Blade. Amaro with the counter takedown but Blade avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blade throws a leg kick which misses Amaro's front leg but catches the back leg as Amaro tries to avoid it. Blade misses with a double jab.
We've been told by Blade's head coaches at Woodhouse's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Blade cracks a nice hook into Amaro's ribs. Amaro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jake Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antoniusz Amaro. Blade throws a body shot but no joy. Blade digs a good body shot into Amaro's ribs. Amaro circles away from the clinch attempt.
Amaro feints the counter takedown. Amaro is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Blade takes one on the button. Blade misses with a body shot.
Blade fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Amaro throws a lazy uppercut
and Blade counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Amaro gets a double leg takedown into Blade's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Amaro stops Blade from standing up. Amaro working some strikes from top position. Blade seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Amaro with a flurry of punches that miss. Blade keeping moving, preventing Amaro from controlling successfully. Blade is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Amaro wants to control from the top but Blade keeps moving. Amaro throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Blade works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blade controls Amaro momentarily but Amaro frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Amaro misses with a hook. Blade ducked under it nicely. Amaro throws a lazy right hand but Blade sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Blade misses with a low kick.
Amaro throws the left hand but Blade avoids the punch easily. Amaro tries for a takedown but Blade circles away easily and Blade counters with a straight right hand. Amaro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blade tries to avoid it but Amaro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blade to the ground. Blade escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A little feinted left hand from Blade on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Good standup being displayed there by Blade as he connects with a hook. Jake Blade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Blade just misses with a punch to the body.
Amaro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blade circles away. Amaro fails with a takedown attempt. Amaro is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blade scores with a jab. Amaro acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Amaro throws a poor cross that misses
and Blade connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A big left from Blade misses. Blade is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Blade throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A punch lands to the side of Blade 's head but he takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Amaro is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blade sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Blade lands with a cross. Blade tries to land a leg kick but Amaro saw it coming and moves away.
Blade scores with a one two! Amaro had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Amaro looks for a takedown but Blade sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Blade dominated that second round. That's time! Blade's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Blade looks to land a left hand but Amaro moved out of range nicely. A swing and a miss from Blade. Amaro shoots in and drives through. Blade sprawls well. Blade catches Amaro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A jab from Blade misses. Blade misses with a hook
and Amaro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Blade waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Amaro. Jake Blade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Amaro shoots in looking for a takedown but Blade manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amaro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Blade lands with a right hand. Blade is rocked! Amaro takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Amaro has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blade digs a good body shot into Amaro's ribs. Blade throws a leg kick that misses. Amaro tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Blade slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Amaro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Blade. A telegraphed right hand from Blade misses the target. Antoniusz Amaro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A chopping leg kick lands by Blade. Blade lands with a shot to the body. Blade is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Amaro. Amaro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Amaro thuds a left hand into Blade's body. Blade moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Amaro is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blade throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Amaro is still on wobbly legs! Can Blade finish him? Blade listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Blade misses with a straight left. Amaro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blade pulls out of a head kick attempt.
An inside leg kick from Blade misses. Amaro seems to have recovered his senses. Blade cracks Amaro on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Amaro falls backwards against the cage. Blade follows up with more strikes that drop Amaro to his knees. Blade keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Amaro! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Blade! Jake Blade seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
