Borges has chosen The King Has Arived as his entrance music. Breno Borges has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Emile White's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borges throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and Borges finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

As Borges tries to get set, White tries to push him back and clinch up but Borges manages to avoid the attempt.
Borges shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
White fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Borges tries to hold on but White pushes him away.
Borges sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
