Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Hussey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denis Hussey looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernardo Weeks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Denis Hussey! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hussey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Weeks manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hussey keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Weeks has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hussey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Weeks wants to take the fight to the mat but Hussey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Weeks drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hussey gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Weeks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hussey takes the fight into the clinch. Hussey with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hussey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Weeks. Weeks prevents Hussey from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Weeks throws an elbow that misses. Hussey uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Weeks's guard. Nice move by Hussey! Hussey gets to his feet. Weeks looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hussey looks winded! Weeks blocks a head kick by Hussey.
It looked like Weeks was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Hussey moves into the clinch. Hussey should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Weeks misses with a hook from the clinch. Weeks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hussey walks away with a smile on his face. Weeks gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Denis Hussey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hussey misses with a double jab.
Weeks tries to counter by clinching up but Hussey breaks away and moves out of range. Hussey closes the distance and clinches. Weeks wants a takedown.
Weeks wants to take the fight to the mat but Hussey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Weeks fails to land the takedown. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hussey shoots for a double leg takedown but Weeks sprawls well. He's pushed Hussey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Weeks dives in for a single leg takedown but Hussey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Weeks takes a body punch but keeps moving. Weeks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hussey throws a series of punches but Weeks moves out of range. Nice sprawl there from Hussey as Weeks shoots in. Hussey moves into range and clinches up with Weeks. Hussey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hussey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Weeks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Weeks is trying to control but can't.
Weeks has hold of Hussey's hands but Hussey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hussey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weeks is just riding it out for now. Hussey eventually gives up the hold. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hussey connects with a nice short shot to Weeks's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weeks is trying to maintain the position but Hussey is very close to passing his half guard. Hussey gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Hussey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Weeks ducks right into an uppercut from Hussey.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weeks misses with a takedown attempt - Hussey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hussey tries to land a front kick but Weeks steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Weeks seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Weeks misses with a leg kick. Hussey gets in close and instigates a clinch. Weeks looking to throw knees to the head but Hussey is blocking nicely.

Hussey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Weeks prevents Hussey from getting back to his feet. Weeks is looking to work some ground and pound but Hussey has wrist control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Weeks is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hussey lands a couple of shots from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hussey wants to control from the top but Weeks keeps moving. Weeks is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hussey connects with a decent elbow. Hussey works to advance to full mount. Weeks defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Hussey breaks from Weeks's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Weeks keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bernardo Weeks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Denis Hussey is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hussey controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Denis Hussey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hussey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
