Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itse Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lodbrok might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Killing in the name of.... The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivar Lodbrok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Itse Perkele!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Perkele has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Perkele throws a hook but Lodbrok avoids it easily.
Perkele throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lodbrok has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Beauty School in the buildup to the fight.
Perkele scores with a nice body kick.
Ivar Lodbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perkele checks a leg kick.
Lodbrok throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Perkele.
Lodbrok jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A countering left hand to the body from Perkele misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Lodbrok misses the target.
Perkele keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Perkele fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lodbrok is out of range.
Lodbrok tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perkele was well out of range. Poor timing from Lodbrok.
Perkele scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lodbrok doesn't seem bothered though.
Lodbrok takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lodbrok throws a predictable looking body shot
and Perkele counters with a good low kick that Lodbrok was not able to check.
Lodbrok is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Perkele cracks Lodbrok with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Perkele has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lodbrok to stand back up!
Lodbrok is rocked!
It looks like Ivar Lodbrok has been cut.
Perkele fakes the body blow, causing Lodbrok to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lodbrok goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Itse Perkele!
