The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okninski slips under a jab.
Okninski throws a series of punches but Chelios moves out of range.
Chelios is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Okninski with a body shot.
Chelios lands with a straight right. Okninski didn't see that one coming.
Chelios scores with a punch to the head.
Chelios uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Okninski.
Okninski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Okninski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Okninski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mieczyslaw Okninski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chelios swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Okninski.

Nice defenses there by Okninski.
Chelios misses with a body shot.
Okninski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chelios counters with a crisp one two that drops Okninski! Chelios thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Okninski to his feet! Okninski is in big trouble!
Okninski is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Okninski leaves his chin hanging out and Chelios seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Okninski crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
