Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Longfellow Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kingsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Kingsley acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Longfellow Deeds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Kingsley! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deeds looks to land a combination but Kingsley avoids it well. Deeds throws a hook but Kingsley blocks it. A little jabbing left from Kingsley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Deeds throws the left hand but Kingsley avoids the punch easily. Deeds tries a low kick but Kingsley avoids it. Kingsley appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Kingsley slips under a jab from Deeds. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kingsley has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Deeds motions for Kingsley to come forward. Deeds throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Deeds misses the shot to the body. Deeds fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kingsley to the ground. Deeds is now in Kingsley's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Deeds is looking to work some ground and pound but Kingsley has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingsley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Deeds stopping the sweep attempt from Kingsley. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kingsley is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Deeds looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kingsley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Deeds seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Deeds is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Deeds is trying to keep Kingsley in close.
Kingsley passes Deeds's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Deeds moves into full guard.
Deeds wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Kingsley is now in half guard. Deeds won't allow Kingsley to pass to mount. Kingsley is thwarting Deeds's attempts to control the position. Kingsley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Deeds is looking to improve his position.
Kingsley is trying to control the action in half guard but Deeds is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Deeds is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Miyagi Famiy Dojo that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deeds wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Deeds loads up on a big right hand but Kingsley slips the punch. Kingsley missing with a left hand there. Deeds was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A jab from Kingsley misses. Deeds lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Deeds keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Deeds has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kingsley finds it's way round the side to connect with Deeds's head. Kingsley misses with a right hand enabling Deeds to counter with a crisp jab. Deeds bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kingsley's head backwards. Deeds throws out a loose jab but Kingsley uses good head movement to avoid it. Deeds fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Deeds wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deeds throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kingsley looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kingsley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Deeds. Deeds throws a leg kick that is checked and Kingsley counters with a lovely shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Deeds catches Kingsley with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Deeds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kingsley circles away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kingsley! But no joy. Deeds throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kingsley let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Deeds ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A swing and a miss from Kingsley. Deeds lands a jab to Kingsley's midsection. Deeds misses with a left hand and Kingsley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Deeds throws a jab but it's blocked by Kingsley. Kingsley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Longfellow Deeds dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kingsley jabbing away but nothing is landing. Deeds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kingsley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Deeds misses with a two punch combination.
Deeds throws a big shot that misses. Deeds's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kingsley under the eye. Deeds misses with a wild combination.
Kingsley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Deeds. Longfellow Deeds is winning the standup battle so far. Deeds fails with the takedown and Kingsley counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Longfellow Deeds has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Deeds misses with a two punch combination.
Kingsley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Deeds throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Kingsley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingsley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Deeds. Deeds takes a swing at Kingsley's ribcage but misses. Kingsley stuffs the takedown attempt from Deeds. Deeds gets slowly back to his feet. Kingsley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Deeds throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kingsley counters with a crisp right hand that drops Deeds! Kingsley lets Deeds back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Kingsley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Deeds throws out the jab. Deeds misses with a straight right. Kingsley moves out of range as Deeds strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kingsley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

letting Kingsley counter with a right hand. A low kick from Deeds is predictable there and Kingsley scores with a counter punch that sends Deeds to the canvas! Kingsley smells blood - he's punishing Deeds with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Deeds has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Kingsley! In his post fight interview, James Kingsley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
