Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vale Valhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Raymer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valhall comes to the cage accompanied by Valhall Awaits Me. Raymer has chosen Summertime - Mungo Jerry as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vale Valhall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Raymer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raymer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Greg Raymer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raymer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Valhall gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Valhall is trying to trip Raymer. He has hold of a leg but Raymer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Valhall persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Valhall tries to score with some ground and pound. Raymer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Valhall throws an elbow but Raymer slips to the side and avoids it well.
Valhall looks up at the clock and then as Raymer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Valhall smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Valhall postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Valhall is looking to take a break and control but Raymer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Raymer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valhall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Raymer is trying to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Valhall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Raymer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Valhall closes the distance and clinches.

Valhall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Raymer is trying to get back to half guard.
Valhall lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Raymer down.

Valhall wants to control but Raymer is keeping him busy.
Valhall works to advance to full mount. Raymer defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Raymer wants to control but Valhall is having none of it.
Valhall prevents Raymer from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Valhall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Valhall moves into the clinch.
Raymer is leaning against Valhall and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Valhall is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Raymer pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Valhall lands a left hand that snaps the head of Raymer backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Raymer.
Raymer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Valhall has him pressed against the cage.
Raymer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Valhall.
Raymer avoiding damage as Valhall throws knees to the body.
Raymer managing to block the knees to the body from Valhall.
Raymer tries to break the clinch but Valhall is controlling the position.

Valhall breaks from the clinch.

and Valhall counters with a nice uppercut.

Valhall takes the fight into the clinch.

Raymer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Valhall pulls his leg out and moves away.
Valhall thows a left - swing and a miss!

Raymer wants to clinch

and Valhall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Valhall has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raymer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vale Valhall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Raymer blocks an uppercut.

Raymer is pressed up against the cage. Valhall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Raymer down to the mat. Raymer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Valhall lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Valhall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Raymer manages to avoid it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Raymer cracks Valhall with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Valhall counters with a stiff right hand.
Valhall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raymer is fending him off so far but Valhall persists. Nope, Raymer circles away and we're back to standing.

Vale Valhall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Valhall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Raymer throws a left that rocks Valhall and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Raymer dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Valhall regain composure!

It looks like Vale Valhall has been cut.
Raymer throws an elbow but Valhall slips to the side and avoids it well.
Oh Valhall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Valhall seems to have got his legs back now.
Valhall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Raymer!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Valhall is landing with some decent strikes but Raymer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The referee warns Raymer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Greg Raymer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Greg Raymer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
