Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fletcher Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Chin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fletcher Moran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johny Chin! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chin misses with a head kick.
Moran throws a counter high kick but Chin was just alert enough to avoid it. Chin connects with a body shot that sends Moran's belly button to the back. Chin misses with the combination.
Chin tries to clinch and Moran counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Chin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Fletcher Moran has been cut. Chin misses with a double jab
and Moran counters by moving into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moran manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Chin wants to control from the top but Moran keeps moving. Moran controlling the position. Moran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chin stands up from guard. Let's bang! Chin is looking to clinch. Moran on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Moran gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Moran has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Chin is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Chin managing to block the knees to the body from Moran.
Chin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moran to the ground. Chin is now in Moran's guard. Chin trying to control the position from guard on top but Moran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moran wants to stand but Chin is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moran bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chin's guard. Moran gets to his feet - Chin follows without any prompting. Chin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moran manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Moran trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Chin is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Moran has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Moran manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chin manages to get himself to full guard.
Moran content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Moran drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moran jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Moran is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moran preventing the sweep. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Moran lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Moran decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chin, up you get! Chin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Moran attempts a counter takedown but Chin avoids it well and moves away. Chin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Moran quickly recovers to half guard. Chin looks winded! Moran keeps control of the position for the meantime. Moran kicks off Chin and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Moran throws Chin to one side and escapes! Moran looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moran seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Chin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Fletcher Moran!
