Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Stelling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelling comes into the arena with London Calling blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nathan Nelson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Stelling ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nathan Nelson! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stelling slips a jab and a cross from Nelson.
Jack Stelling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stelling looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stelling attempts a counter takedown but Nelson avoids it well and moves away. Horrible takedown attempt by Nelson or perhaps it was just good defense by Stelling , which made it look bad. Stelling wants to clinch but Nelson slips to the side and Nelson counters with a takedown into side control. Nelson controls the position. Nelson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Nelson in side control, just content to control the action for now. Nelson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Stelling ! Stelling avoids a series of strikes thrown by Nelson.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee warns Stelling that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Nelson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Stelling because Nelson loaded up on that one. Nelson misses with a head shot. Nelson content just to control the position here. Nelson working for a guillotine from mount but Stelling is in no mood to give up. Nelson controlling his opponent. Stelling holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Nelson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Nelson with a nice cross. Stelling looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Nelson moves into range and clinches up with Stelling . Nelson jumps guard.
Nelson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stelling is one step ahead there. Nelson pushes Stelling off and scrambles back to his feet.

Nelson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stelling stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stelling wants it to stay on the feet. Nelson shoots in for a double leg but Stelling sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jack Stelling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Nelson. Nelson misses with a low kick. Stelling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nelson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Nelson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nelson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Nelson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
A lull in the action here. Nelson has knee on belly and moves into mount. Nelson controlling from the full mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stelling manages to avoid the submission attempt. Nelson stands up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stelling tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Nelson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Nelson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nelson controlling from the full mount. Nelson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Nelson looking to ground and pound but Stelling is blocking nicely. Nelson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stelling blocking the ground and pound. Nelson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Nelson throwing strikes here but Stelling is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nelson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Stelling in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Nelson looking to finish with strikes here!
Stelling is trying desperately to improve position. Nelson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Stelling because Nelson loaded up on that one. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nelson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stelling to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stelling shrugs it off. Nelson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stelling has worked his arm free - good work by Stelling !

Nathan Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Nelson rushes Stelling and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stelling tries to pull guard but Nelson holds him up against the cage and eventually Stelling drops back down to his feet.

Nelson is working for takedown but Stelling is calmly controlling the position for now. Nelson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Nelson trying to control the position here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nelson can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nelson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stelling swivels and escapes. Jack Stelling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Nelson. No luck for Stelling with that takedown attempt. Nelson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stelling but Stelling pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nelson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nelson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stelling gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nelson wants to sweep here but Stelling controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Stelling throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nelson's body to avoid the submission. Nelson has instead reached around Stelling 's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nelson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Nathan Nelson! In defeat, Jack Stelling stepped up to the mic, saying 'Don't Worries Fans, I Will Come Back And Win For My UK Fans'.
