Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Doobie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kellen Chabada! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Chabada misses and Doobie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Doobie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chabada closes the distance and clinches. Doobie is trying to break the clinch but Chabada is controlling him. A bit of stalling here from Chabada.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doobie is trying to pull guard but Chabada turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch. Chabada misses with a hook to the ribs.
Doobie is trying to break the clinch but Chabada has him pressed against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chabada works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Doobie is trying to control the position but Chabada postures up. Doobie looking for a sweep. Not yet Doobie, not yet. Doobie looking to control but Chabada passes into half guard.
Chabada gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Chabada jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Doobie fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chabada clinches up with Doobie and pushes him back against the ropes. Chabada tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Doobie's elbow. Doobie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Doobie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Doobie gets underhooks to prevent Chabada's takedown attempt.

Doobie tries to pull guard but Chabada forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Chabada works on Doobie's body with a couple of short punches. Chabada dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. Chabada's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chabada works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Doobie is trying to control the position but Chabada postures up. Chabada preventing the sweep. Chabada wants to stand but Doobie has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Chabada sitting in guard here, content to control. Doobie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doobie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chabada controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. The fight stays on the outside here - Doobie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chabada avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chabada closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Doobie to the mat! Doobie manages to get full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kellen Chabada dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Doobie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Doobie tries for a takedown but Chabada sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chabada changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Doobie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Chabada throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doobie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chabada is in Doobie's guard. Doobie throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Doobie tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Chabada passes easily into side control. Nice work. Doobie is not in a great position here, taking some shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Doobie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chabada working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chabada is putting a hurting on Doobie here, landing some big shots from side control. Doobie is looking for a sweep. Doobie tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Chabada has control of Doobie's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Doobie regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Doobie wants to control but Chabada is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Doobie looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Doobie preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Chabada. Doobie is keeping busy.
Chabada is not going to allow Doobie to sit and survive in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Doobie right now.
Doobie is working hard here to advance position. Chabada is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chabada looking to break Doobie's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Doobie remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Chabada will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Doobie tries to break free.
Chabada is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Doobie defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Chabada is hanging on to Doobie's back as he tries to escape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Doobie looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kellen Chabada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Chabada shoots in for a takedown but Doobie shows good takedown defense. Doobie shoots in looking for a takedown. Chabada tries to sprawl out of it but Doobie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Chabada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chabada tries to bum rush Doobie with a series of wild strikes but Doobie uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Doobie misses with a double jab
and Chabada counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chabada. Doobie is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Chabada is looking for a takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doobie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chabada has him pressed against the ropes. Chabada pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Doobie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chabada is fending him off so far but Doobie persists. Nope, Chabada circles away and we're back to standing. Chabada has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Doobie moves in looking to clinch but Chabada pushes him off. Doobie is looking to clinch but Chabada is avoiding it.
Chabada tries to counter by closing the distance. Chabada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Doobie! Doobie is not content to let Chabada control the position. Chabada controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doobie is looking to reverse the position. Doobie is trying to control Chabada's posture but Chabada avoids it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Chabada is chipping away with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chabada working away. Doobie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chabada is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Doobie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chabada wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Chabada is looking to take a break and control but Doobie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Doobie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Doobie tries a head kick but it misses.
Doobie lands a jab-cross combination. Doobie shoots in looking for a takedown but Chabada manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Doobie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Doobie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Doobie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chabada takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doobie dives in for a single leg takedown but Chabada sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Doobie tries a head kick but it misses.

Doobie is trying to control the position but Chabada postures up. Kellen Chabada has got the better of the ground game so far. Chabada missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Doobie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chabada is controlling him. Chabada trying to control but Doobie is working from the bottom. Jackson Doobie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kellen Chabada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doobie is looking for a triangle here but Chabada uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kellen Chabada. I've got Chabada winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
