The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Jingles misses.
Jingles fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jingles misses with a low kick.
Hughes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Mr Jingles has been cut.
Jingles misses with the body kick
and Hughes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A clash of legs there as Hughes blocks the low kick.
Hughes scores with a jab. Jingles acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jingles is rocked!
Jingles drops his hands momentarily. Hughes doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Jingles staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Jingles doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Perry Hughes!
Perry Hughes seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Mr Jingles spoke after the fight, saying 'I wonder how much he paid the Ref'.
