Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Uppertaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Iglesias!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uppertaker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Uppertaker throws a punch but it's blocked by Iglesias.
The referee is keeping an eye on Iglesias - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Iglesias blocks an uppercut.
We've been hearing reports that Uppertaker has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Uppertaker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Uppertaker moves into the clinch.

Uppertaker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Iglesias uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Uppertaker has time to react.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uppertaker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Uppertaker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Iglesias sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Iglesias should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Uppertaker lands an elbow.
Uppertaker looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Iglesias is avoiding damage well.
Iglesias is working to avoid the ground and pound but Uppertaker connects with a decent elbow.
Iglesias really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uppertaker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Iglesias throws Uppertaker to one side and escapes!
The Uppertaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Iglesias is trying to stand.
Uppertaker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Uppertaker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Uppertaker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Uppertaker looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Uppertaker thows a huge punch but Iglesias dodges it nicely.
Uppertaker throwing shots but Iglesias is blocking nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Iglesias is looking to escape.

Uppertaker wants to free his trapped foot but Iglesias is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Iglesias tries to kick Uppertaker off but Uppertaker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Uppertaker is nestled in close to Iglesias, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Iglesias keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Uppertaker winds up and cracks Iglesias with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Uppertaker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Uppertaker drops an elbow to the side of Iglesias's head.
Uppertaker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Iglesias is rocked!
Uppertaker is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Iglesias is hurt! He's hurt bad - Uppertaker fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Iglesias from any more punishment! Congratulations to Uppertaker! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Uppertaker!
After winning the bout, The Uppertaker thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
