Garbrandt has chosen Volbeat - A Warrior's Call as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Dalca tries for a takedown but Garbrandt circles away easily
and Garbrandt counters with a left and a right that stings Dalca.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dalca shoots in looking for a takedown. Garbrandt tries to sprawl out of it but Dalca keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Garbrandt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Despite the aggression on Garbrandt's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

After the fight, Cody Garbrandt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
