Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and One Day At A Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). One Day At A Time will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, One Day At A Time! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by At A Time. At A Time slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat. Smith gets a clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Smith - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
At A Time jumps guard but Smith stands there with At A Time around his waist. At A Time gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. At A Time is trying to break free. At A Time is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him. Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith misses with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. At A Time shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Smith instigates a clinch. Smith gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Smith pulls guard. At A Time loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. At A Time trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Smith looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Smith holds on and takes a little breather. At A Time trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Smith is breathing heavily. At A Time seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. At A Time throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. At A Time wants to stand but Smith is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. At A Time tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance. At A Time stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and At A Time wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. At A Time throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease. Smith gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. At A Time is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. At A Time wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. At A Time pushes down on Smith's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. At A Time seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. At A Time seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. At A Time missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. At A Time throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. At A Time wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. At A Time throws a head kick that half lands.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! At A Time tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and At A Time ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Smith has taken the fight to the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but One Day At A Time will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
At A Time moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off. Smith pushes At A Time up against the cage in a clinch. Smith decides to pull guard. At A Time postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it. At A Time has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Smith is proving hard to escape from. Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. At A Time doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. At A Time manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. At A Time wants to get up but he can't break Smith's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but At A Time can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. At A Time would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. At A Time postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by At A Time or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith, which made it look bad. Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. At A Time fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. At A Time lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range. At A Time shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely. Tyson Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of One Day At A Time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing. Nice takedown defense from Smith. No joy for At A Time on that attempt. Smith misses with a takedown attempt - At A Time sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. At A Time tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range. At A Time fails in his attempt to clinch. At A Time shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily. At A Time shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. At A Time dives in for a single leg takedown but Smith sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

At A Time shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely. Smith pushes At A Time up against the cage in a clinch. At A Time wants to break free but Smith has control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. At A Time avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Smith keeps the fight in the clinch, despite At A Time's efforts to push away. Smith is defending well against a takedown attempt. Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nice sprawl there from Smith as At A Time shoots in. At A Time throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it. At A Time works Smith's body with a nice hook. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! At A Time is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Smith dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
At A Time fails with the takedown. At A Time tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range. Tyson Smith is winning the standup battle so far. Smith forces At A Time back against the cage and clinches. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Our sources have told us that Smith has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Smith ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Smith no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. At A Time trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom. Smith is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith looking for a sweep. Not yet Smith, not yet. Smith is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that At A Time can do to turn this around?

At A Time missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Smith looking to hit a scissor sweep but At A Time is one step ahead there. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. At A Time scoring with punches to the head and body. Smith trying to control the position.

No joy for At A Time on that attempt. Tyson Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of One Day At A Time. At A Time looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but At A Time persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing. At A Time throws a wild combination but nothing lands. At A Time tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance. At A Time clinches. Smith prevents At A Time from breaking the clinch. Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A punch combination from At A Time misses. That kick from At A Time tenderised Smith's leg. Smith is trying to keep his angry face on. Smith swinging wildly here.

At A Time fails with a takedown attempt. Smith tries to clinch up. At A Time shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. At A Time swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. At A Time tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. At A Time showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.
At A Time with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
At A Time shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but At A Time keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. At A Time shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense. At A Time will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Smith showed his dominance in that final round. I think Smith has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
