Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merkan Killmaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Killmaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Blade. Patton has chosen Keep your hands to yourself- Georgia Satellites as his entrance music. Merkan Killmaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton tries to clinch up but Killmaz circles away and keeps his distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patton wants to get back to his feet but Killmaz drags him back down.

That's time! Killmaz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A nice inside leg kick there by Killmaz. That's going to slow Patton down.

George Patton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The cut above George Patton's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Patton's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Patton closes the distance but Killmaz moves to the side
and Killmaz counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Patton out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Killmaz is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.

After winning the bout, Merkan Killmaz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
