Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Beasley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Strauss's choice of entrance music: Real Quick (0-100). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Terrence Beasley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samuel Strauss! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beasley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Strauss turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Strauss manages to end up in side control. Beasley regains half guard. Strauss trying to control the action but Beasley is working from the bottom. Strauss tries to pass to full mount but Beasley defends it. Beasley is not content to let Strauss control the position. Strauss might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Beasley haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strauss seems to be looking for submissions.
Beasley is looking for a sweep. Strauss is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strauss wants to control but Beasley is keeping him busy. Strauss prevents Beasley from improving his position. Strauss is trying to control. Beasley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Strauss lands with a punch from half guard. Beasley is in trouble now - Strauss has advanced to mount! Beasley is desperately trying to improve his position but Strauss has a good base and remains in mount. Strauss wants to control the pace but Beasley is squirming around nicely. Strauss scoring with strikes but Beasley is staying in there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strauss trying to control but he's not successful this time. Beasley tries to reverse the position but Strauss maintains control. Strauss can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Beasley is looking to escape. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Strauss cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Strauss with the ground and pound from mount. Strauss wants to control the pace but Beasley is squirming around nicely. Strauss controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strauss connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Strauss looking to control but Beasley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Strauss throwing strikes here but Beasley is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Beasley swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Strauss postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Beasley looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strauss is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Beasley can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strauss looking to control and managing it successfully. Strauss with shots to the head and body - Beasley looks very uncomfortable down there. Beasley working to try and regain half guard.
Strauss looking to control and managing it successfully. Beasley is desperately trying to improve his position but Strauss has a good base and remains in mount. Strauss cracks Beasley with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beasley is squirming around, avoiding Strauss's attempts to control the action. Strauss unloading with bombs!
Beasley is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Strauss dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Strauss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Beasley's guard. Oh Beasley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Strauss trying to control the position from guard on top but Beasley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beasley is looking to sweep but instead, Strauss has passed into half guard.
Strauss with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Strauss decides to stand up. Strauss looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Beasley! Strauss stands up and beckons Beasley to his feet. Strauss closes the distance and clinches. Strauss misses with a knee to the head. Beasley is struggling to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Strauss lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Beasley has hold of one of Strauss's legs. Strauss is fighting the takedown attempt but Beasley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Strauss scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Strauss instigates a clinch. Beasley tries to stall but Strauss uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Strauss has Beasley pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Strauss pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Beasley tumbling to the mat - Strauss dives into Beasley's guard. Samuel Strauss has got the better of the ground game so far. Strauss gets to his feet. Beasley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Strauss fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Beasley to the ground. Strauss is now in Beasley's guard. Strauss stays in close to Beasley's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strauss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Beasley, up you get! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strauss clinches up with Beasley and pushes him back against the cage. Strauss lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Beasley lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Strauss kicks off Beasley and gets to his feet. Strauss rushes Beasley and presses him up against the cage. Strauss lands a nice elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Beasley's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short uppercut from Strauss. Beasley gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Strauss regains guard.
Strauss isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Beasley stacks Strauss on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Beasley! Beasley working away. Strauss is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Strauss throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Beasley gets caught napping as Strauss dives in and scores a takedown. Beasley manages to retain guard. Strauss landing with the ground and pound. Strauss controlling from the top position. Beasley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Strauss with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Strauss passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strauss thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Strauss has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Strauss shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Strauss showed some decent athleticism there. Strauss has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Strauss passes to side control. A lull in the action here as Strauss stalls from top position. Strauss works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Strauss is looking to take a break and control but Beasley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Strauss is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Strauss scores with a couple of short elbows. Strauss working the body and head with strikes. Strauss tries for a kimura but Beasley is defending well. Strauss landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strauss looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Beasley seems to have got his legs back now. Beasley is trying to control Strauss's posture but Strauss avoids it. Strauss tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. A lull in the action here. Strauss is chipping away with strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Beasley takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Strauss wants to take a breather but Beasley manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Strauss. Strauss trying to control the position from guard on top but Beasley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Strauss passes Beasley's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Strauss throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Beasley to regain full guard. Beasley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Strauss's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Strauss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Strauss gets a clinch. Strauss lands an elbow just above Beasley 's eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strauss manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Strauss wants to stand up but Beasley is controlling him. Strauss trying to keep a closed guard but Beasley is proving a slippery customer.
Strauss has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Beasley is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Strauss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beasley is staying tight to Strauss's torso, preventing him from escaping. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Strauss struggling a bit here.
And that's the end of the fight! Samuel Strauss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Strauss winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
