And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Charbonnier closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Crane's guard.
Charbonnier connects with a couple of short punches.

Charbonnier postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Charbonnier not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Charbonnier controls the pace.

Charbonnier gets to his feet and stands over Crane, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Crane felt that one! Charbonnier unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Crane from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marc Charbonnier!
