The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Sanchez as Jimenez shoots in.
Jimenez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively.
Sanchez misses with an uppercut.
Jimenez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanchez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sanchez stuns Jimenez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sanchez cracks Jimenez with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jimenez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Sanchez closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jimenez! Sanchez dives in looking to finish! Jimenez is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
