Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jan Olov Hermansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hermansson comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Ich Will!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gable's choice of entrance music: Pelican - Mammoth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermansson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gable takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gable tries for a takedown but Hermansson circles away easily
and Hermansson counters with a left to the body.
Gable shoots in but Hermansson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hermansson jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Gable has his takedown stuffed
and Hermansson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jan Olov Hermansson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Gable.
Hermansson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hermansson throws a leg kick which misses Gable's front leg but catches the back leg as Gable tries to avoid it.
Hermansson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Midnight MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Nelson Gable seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gable drops his hands momentarily and Hermansson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gable with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hermansson counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hermansson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hermansson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hermansson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gable doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hermansson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gable is rocked!
Gable has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hermansson.
Gable looks winded!
Gable shoots and misses
and Hermansson counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Hermansson looks at the referee who does nothing so Hermansson lands a crushing right that sends Gable to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jan Olov Hermansson!
In his post fight interview, Jan Olov Hermansson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
