Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benny Lawlor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corak Hoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawlor comes to the cage accompanied by I Have A Dream. The key to victory for Benny Lawlor has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benny Lawlor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Corak Hoon!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoon takes one to the side of the head.
Hoon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lawlor tries to avoid it but Hoon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lawlor to the ground. Lawlor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lawlor cracks Hoon with an open hand slap.
Lawlor has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lawlor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Lawlor lands the left hand.
Lawlor thuds a left hand into Hoon's body.
Lawlor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lawlor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hoon at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hoon is defended easily by Lawlor.
A quick step to the side and Lawlor tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Benny Lawlor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Lawlor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hoon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawlor throws out a powerful jab.
A jab from Lawlor finds it's way through Hoon's defenses.

Hoon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hoon has his takedown stuffed
and Lawlor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Benny Lawlor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corak Hoon.
Lawlor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hoon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Danga de danga de dang - Lawlor scores with a four punch combination!
Hoon is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lawlor lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hoon falls backwards - clearly groggy! Lawlor dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benny Lawlor!
Benny Lawlor was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
