Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Molipo Cohones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Welch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Molipo Cohones!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Welch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cohones is in Welch's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cohones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Welch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Molipo Cohones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Welch throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cohones's waist but Cohones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Welch off to one side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Cohones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Molipo Cohones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
