7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Unz Unz! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kirillov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kirillov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Unz is looking for a sweep. Unz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Unz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Unz manages to get to full guard.
Kirillov drops back looking for a leg! Unz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Unz manages to kick Kirillov off! Kirillov jumps back into Unz's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Unz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kirillov controls the pace. Unz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Unz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Unz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kirillov trying to control the position from guard on top but Unz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Unz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kirillov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Unz is tightening it up a little... Kirillov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kirillov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kirillov taps out! Nice BJJ there by Unz!
