Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Metal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heavy Metal has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long misses with the combination.
Long looks to land a combination. Metal sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Metal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Long swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Long drives through and clinches with Metal against the cage.
Long pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Long tries to bum rush Metal with a series of wild strikes but Metal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Long throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Metal swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Long counters with a straight right hand.
Metal takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Metal darts in trying to clinch
and Long counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Metal uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Long shoots in but no luck this time.
Long throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Metal's waist but Metal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Long off to one side.

Long has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Metal is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Long.

That was a close second round but I would say that Heavy Metal will probably get the nod.

Alex Long comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Long has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
