Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rice Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drunkula - Lift The Whip kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rice Boyd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bishop! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyd jabs at Bishop's body. Boyd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bishop misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boyd scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Billy Bishop has been cut. Bishop closes the distance and clinches. Boyd swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Boyd is working for takedown but Bishop is calmly controlling the position for now. Bishop prevents Boyd from breaking the clinch. Boyd prevents a body shot from Bishop. Boyd is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Bishop gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boyd.
A short right from Bishop. Bishop is leaning against Boyd and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Boyd throws a punch but it's blocked by Bishop. Bishop unloads a knee to the mid-section. Boyd lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bishop manages to pull guard.
Boyd trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bishop tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bishop had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boyd is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bishop Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boyd's back instead. Bishop is trying to stick to Boyd's back but Boyd is turning into Bishop. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bishop's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Boyd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyd would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bishop looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boyd postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boyd is posturing up here but Bishop has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Boyd tries to roll out but it's too tight and Boyd has to tap! Slick submission there by Bishop!
