Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veikko Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias comes into the arena with Jorge Ben - Bebete Vãobora blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Susi throws a looping overhand right but Dias ducks down to avoid it.
Susi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dias is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A low kick from Dias misses
and Susi counters with a nice uppercut.
Dias throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Dias thows a leg kick but Susi checks it
and Susi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Susi punishes Dias's body with a nice straight punch.
Susi misses with a looping left.

Susi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Dias takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Susi throws a hook but Dias avoids it easily.
Dias wants to clinch but Susi slips to the side
and Susi counters with a straight right hand.
Dias walks into a stiff left hand from Susi.
Dias is rocked!
BOOM! Susi lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dias. Dias tries to recover but Susi is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dias lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Veikko Susi!
