Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a hook. Soares ducked under it nicely.
Soares falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch.
Gracie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gracie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gracie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gracie doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Soares wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.
Soares trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Soares throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soares had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gracie defends it easily.
Soares has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gracie doesn't defend quickly enough and Soares has managed to lock this one up! Can Gracie escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Soares on a fantastic submission victory.
