Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximo Renario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Jones Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximo Renario! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dennis Jones Jr! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renario lands with a kick to the ribs.
Renario fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A decent looking body kick lands there for Renario. Renario gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones Jr to score an easy takedown into full guard. Renario has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jones Jr off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Renario looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones Jr is defended easily by Renario. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Renario counter with a right hand. Jones Jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Renario. Renario jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jones Jr scores with a takedown into Renario's guard. Jones Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Renario is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Renario utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jones Jr scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jones Jr controlling from the top position. Renario is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones Jr content to stall in guard here. Jones Jr scoring with punches to the head and body. Jones Jr trying to control but Renario is working from the bottom. Renario knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones Jr on the ground. Renario is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Renario can't do much from the bottom here. Jones Jr working the ground and pound. Renario on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Renario tries to get out of the position. A lull in the action here. Jones Jr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Renario has escaped the position, nice work there. Jones Jr content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Jones Jr wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Renario, who protects the arm well. Jones Jr is looking to take a break and control but Renario is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones Jr advances nicely into full mount. Jones Jr scoring with strikes but Renario is staying in there. Jones Jr landing strikes, looking to finish! Jones Jr is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Renario can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Renario is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones Jr scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Renario?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones Jr lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Renario is rocked! Renario is in a horrible position here. Jones Jr smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Renario is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones Jr is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Renario to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Renario shrugs it off. Jones Jr looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Renario covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Jones Jr! Dennis Jones Jr very nearly forgot to thank V-Mask Clothing (10%) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
