Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Freedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Dusk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Freedman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drake Dusk! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freedman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Freedman slips a jab and a cross from Dusk.
Freedman tries to counter with a takedown but Dusk is quick to defend against it. Freedman throws a right and a left that both miss. Freedman throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Drake Dusk has been cut. Dusk throws a combination that misses and Freedman counters with a nice uppercut. Freedman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A jab lands there for Freedman. Freedman throws a looping overhand right but Dusk ducks down to avoid it. Dusk looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A big left from Dusk misses. Dusk dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Freedman blocks a head kick by Dusk.
Freedman throws out a powerful jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Freedman. Freedman swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freedman drops Dusk with a right and a left! Freedman comes rushing in but Dusk regains his composure and manages to keep Freedman in guard.
Dusk is rocked! Freedman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dusk managing to control the position. Freedman is pushing down on Dusk's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dusk is fighting to maintain full guard but Freedman has managed to sneak the leg through. Freedman is trying to work for a kimura but Dusk is defending well.

Dusk gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dusk is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Freedman pushes down on Dusk's leg and manages to get into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Freedman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Freedman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Freedman is working for a submission of some sort.
Dusk trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freedman prevents Dusk from improving his position. Freedman tries to pass to full mount but Dusk defends it. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dusk wants to get back to full guard. Dusk moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dusk pulls Freedman in close to his closed guard and prevents Freedman from doing any damage or advancing position. Freedman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've been hearing good reports from Freedman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Dusk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Freedman forces his way into half guard. Freedman working Dusk over with strikes. Freedman decides to stand and escape the position. A jab lands there for Dusk. Freedman looks to throw the jab but Dusk is out of range. Dusk swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Drake Dusk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dusk scores with a jab. Freedman throws a lazy uppercut
and Dusk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dusk thows a left - swing and a miss! Dusk walks into a left hand.
That has opened up Drake Dusk's cut even more. Freedman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Freedman lands in his opponent's guard. Freedman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dusk, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Freedman dominated that round. The cut man is working on Drake Dusk's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Dusk throws a one two combo.
No joy there for Dusk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Freedman throws a big shot that misses. Freedman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dusk lands with a slapping head kick. Freedman defending well as Dusk loads up on a big left hand. Freedman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dusk can do to turn this around? Dusk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dusk wants it to stay on the feet. Dusk throws out a counter right but Freedman avoids it with no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Freedman misses. Dusk lands a jab to the nose. Freedman avoids the body shot from Dusk.
Dusk throws a sloppy head kick and Freedman moves out of range easily. Freedman misses with a wild body shot. Dusk throws out a counter right but Freedman avoids it with no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freedman has his takedown stuffed and Dusk counters with a one-two to the body. Dusk cracks Freedman with an open hand slap.
Freedman is rocked! Freedman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dusk misses with a series of wild punches.
Freedman throws a right and a left that Dusk avoids nicely. Marcus Freedman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dusk throws a right and a left that both miss. Dusk changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Freedman blocks a jab. Dusk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Freedman throws out the jab. Dusk lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Freedman backs up against the cage.
Oh Freedman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dusk darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Freedman's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Dusk before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drake Dusk! A very excited looking Drake Dusk made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
