Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Freedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Dusk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Freedman tries to counter with a takedown but Dusk is quick to defend against it.

Freedman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've been hearing good reports from Freedman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

No joy there for Dusk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Freedman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dusk misses with a series of wild punches.
Freedman throws a right and a left that Dusk avoids nicely.

Dusk changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Dusk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Freedman throws out the jab.
Dusk lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Freedman backs up against the cage.
Oh Freedman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dusk darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Freedman's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Dusk before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drake Dusk!
